WHO IS KAIROS FALL GATHERING FOR?

Fall Gathering  is designed for collegiate/young adults, 18-25 years old, and their leaders. 
 

WHAT ARE THE CURRENT COVID-19 GUIDELINES AND POLICIES FOR FALL GATHERING? (UPDATED: October 13,2021)

We are committed to making sure that all of our attendees are safe and feel comfortable as they participate in

Kairos Fall Gathering 2021. The following guidelines will be in place for Kairos Fall Gathering 2021:

• All Fall Gathering attendees will be required to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status, when indoors and in designated public areas on the Eagle Eyrie campus. This includes Community Groups, Main Sessions, and Breakout Sessions.

• If you experience any COVID symptoms in the 48 hours prior to Fall Gathering 2021, we ask that you stay home. Attendees will be asked to complete the Fall Gathering COVID Health Screen checklist prior to attending.

• If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID in the past 14 days, please stay at home.

• In order to gather safely, we will have socially distanced seating in our main sessions. Attendees are asked to stay seated together with their respective campus/church and sit in the same seat throughout the weekend.

• Indoor masking will not be required inside for individual/church lodges and accommodation capacity requirements will not be altered for lodges at this time. Individual campus/church groups will determine their own safe practices inside of their group’s lodge(s).

If any attendee tests positive or develops COVID-19 symptoms during Fall Gathering, the individual, and

anyone that the individual has been in contact with for more than 15 minutes consecutively, will be required to

isolate for the remainder of Fall Gathering. The Kairos Fall Gathering Event Director should be notified

immediately. Attendance for Main Sessions, breakouts and activities will be prohibited. The Kairos Team will

make arrangements for the group to receive all included meals. A plan will then be developed for the

individual’s safe return home.

We will continue to assess the situation and provide updates at the 15-day and 7-day marks leading up to Fall

Gathering. Future Fall Gathering updates will be emailed to you directly as well as posted here on the FAQ

page.

CANCELLATION / REFUNDS DUE TO COVID-19

We do not expect that Fall Gathering will be cancelled this year. However, if there is a change in the status of local government guidelines and large gatherings are not allowed, your group will receive a full refund. 

​

If you are unable to attend Fall Gathering due to the impact of COVID-19, we will work with you on a case-by-case basis in refunding your registration costs as much as possible. 

​

Please note that if you choose not to attend Fall Gathering due to a situation unrelated to COVID-19, the Fall Gathering cancellation policy would apply.

WHERE DOES THE WEEKEND TAKE PLACE?

The entirety of Fall Gathering will take place at the Eagle Eyrie Baptist Conference Center, located at 1 Eagle Eyrie Dr., Lynchburg, VA 24503.

WHAT IS COMMUNITY GROUP TIME?

Community Group Time is where you will gather together to build community, discuss and process, and share stories of what Jesus is doing in your life throughout the weekend with other participants from your group. 

​

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Participants should bring their Bible, a notepad or journal, a pen, twin size linens or sleeping bag, and breakfast items. 

​

WHAT IS THERE TO DO DURING FREE TIME?

While largely unstructured, there are several options available to participants including: hiking, frisbee golf, gaga ball, corn hole, football, soccer, basketball, & volleyball.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE ANY DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

At this time we are unable to accommodate specific dietary restrictions for the meals provided.

WHAT DOES THE COST OF FALL GATHERING INCLUDE?

The cost per participant or leader includes:

- Event Ticket

- Lodging for 2 nights

- Saturday lunch and dinner (On your own for breakfast)

- Weekend materials

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Tickets purchased for Fall Gathering are non-refundable. We thank you in advance for not asking for exceptions. Tickets are transferrable to another individual at any time.
